How Call Waiting ID Works:

Call Waiting ID has all the benefits of Caller ID and it also lets you identify your call waiting calls before you answer. A special tone alerts you to a waiting call and you also receive a visual display of the name and number of the person calling. The purchase of an add-on display or display telephone is necessary.

How To Use:

To use Call Waiting ID follow the instructions included with your Call Waiting ID display unit.

Notes:

The "switchhook" is the button the handset pushes down when you hang up your phone. Some telephones have a Link or Flask key you can press instead.
